I hope to make a positive impact in the field of education as I am impacted by my teachers every day. The teachers that have had the strongest impact on me have also had the strongest influence on me and my character as a student and a learner. I see the difference they are making in the lives of my classmates and I daily, and I am eager to continue learning and share the knowledge my teachers taught me to my students some day. I believe that education is made up of so much more than test scores, state standards, and curriculum. I hope that when my students step into my classroom, they feel ready to learn in an environment filled with love, empathy, and encouragement. I hope that my students see how much I care about them, and want success for them.
