MEET
Faith Kilfoyle

I grew up in a small town east of Cleveland, known as Chardon, Ohio. I enjoyed playing various sports and participating in numerous activities in school such as golf, majorettes, Model United Nations, Student Council, and more. In my

free time, I enjoy golfing, skiing, shopping, or a

movie night with friends. I have an older sister

named Grace. We are total opposites but

we are so close and love hanging out

together! I also have two pets: a Cavapoo

puppy named Nash, and a Calico cat

named Sugar. I am a second-year

Elementary Education major at Grove City

College in Grove City, Pennsylvania.

 

Since beginning my time at GCC, I have

become involved in various clubs on campus. I

now serve as the Vice President & Media Chair of the

Gamma Chi Sorority, and am proud to be leading and supporting my sisters in various ways. I was recently elected as the Vice President of the Kappa Delta Pi (KDP) Education honorary. I look forward to helping out and doing service projects in the Grove City area! I am also a part of Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) which helps people get connected and involved in events with children with exceptionalities. This past semester, I helped out with Westminster College's Special Olympics through CEC. That was a very fulfilling event and I look forward to participating in it again next year!

I have several family members that pursued a career in education, including my mother, both of my grandmothers, and my aunt. I was lucky enough to have grown up in schools that had incredible educators that showed me love, care, and compassion. I am blessed to have such incredible teachers along the way that have shaped me into the dedicated and driven aspiring educator that I am today. It is because of their commitment and love for teaching that I have chosen to major in education. I hope to make even a fraction of the difference they have made in my life when I become a teacher. I truly cannot wait to be a part of such a rewarding occupation.
