Today, I created a lesson plan for 3rd-4th grade grammar based on PDESAS standard E03.D.1.2.3: Using commas and quotation marks in dialogue. I began the lesson plan by playing an entertaining video to catch the students' attention. Then, I present a presentation created with Lumio, a free, interactive whiteboard presentation system, that will allow students to draw in commas and quotation marks directly into the presentation itself. I plan to finish the unit by giving the students a summative assessment using Google Forms. Google Forms makes quizzes and tests visually appealing and allows for easy grading. Students can instantly view their scores and see how well they did. There is also an option for you to give feedback for each question so the student can see why they got a question wrong. You can insert pictures and videos into Google Forms as well. One of my favorite features of Google Forms is Responses. You can view each student's responses individually, or see how well the class did all together. You can view this data in a pie chart, a bar graph, and more. I highly recommend checking this out!
