Lumio with Interactive Whiteboards

Lumio is a great resource to use with interactive whiteboards such as Promethean and SMART boards. It is a free website for teachers looking to create engaging and productive PowerPoint presentations. Lumio has hundreds of creative templates to choose from, but if you're feeling creative, you can design your own easily! One of my favorite parts about Lumio is their holiday templates! Right now, I'm working on a first-grade Halloween-themed presentation! Lumio correlates with the Danielson Framework for Teaching by using Domain 3C's "Engaging Students in Learning." Lumio has various techniques that keep students engaged, such as matching games, interactive flash cards, manipulatives, and so much more.
